Honestly, I totally agree with Iman on this. As a buyer I think one thing that would be a game changer is verified reviews for merchants. I've found in my experience that merchants may deliver but it may take a much longer time than expected and their are no repercussions for merchants. But then you learn that other people have had similar experiences but there was no way to know. Wondering, if escrow could also be a way to incentivize timely delivery?
That said, I really like the idea of escrow but I'm curious if most average buyers know what it is and how it might benefit them. @Shemang, how would the escrow experience work?
Yes ofcourse! I believe escrow will greatly impact the way merchants approach service delivery and customer support. One of the core features of SafeKeep is seller rating which will be run by an algorithm based on transaction completion, speed, buyer feedback against product quality and time to deliver. My goal is to restore trust in online commerce hence @SafeKeep Africa

This is a great question and something that I have thought about for a while. I love the idea of an escrow-backed payment system because it incentives sellers to ensure they deliver on what they sell. It could improve marketplace transactions if it is bundled up with customer reviews where customers can have verified posts on their experience. I think that would be cool.
