Our Journey
Creating Platr Business, our first product, has been a labor of love. From the very beginning, we’ve been on a mission to build an ecosystem around SMEs in Nigeria. Our vision is to empower small and medium enterprises through software tools, storytelling, community engagements, and mentorship. This journey has been fueled by the belief that with the right support, our local entrepreneurs can thrive and drive significant economic growth.
Launch Day
On the 9th of June, 2024, we officially launched Platr Business. It was a momentous occasion, held before an audience of SME business owners, vendor-focused event organizers, representatives from government agencies, and startup support agencies. The energy in the room was palpable, and the excitement around our vision was truly inspiring.
Inspiring Entrepreneurs
Long before our official launch, we dedicated ourselves to telling the stories of entrepreneurs in the industry. By sharing their journeys, challenges, and triumphs, we aimed to motivate and inspire others to pursue entrepreneurship. Our goal has always been to make the tools available for these entrepreneurs to succeed seamlessly.

What makes Platr even more special is our team. We are a close-knit group of childhood friends who either went to the same high school or grew up in the same neighborhood. This unique bond has translated into a passionate and dedicated team, committed to seeing Platr and its users succeed.
